Art deco, gorgeous blue topaz and 18K gold ring, c1930
This rich blue rectangular-cut topaz is virtually flawless. Unlike aquamarine, the color has just a touch of purple. The depth of the color is just right to give a strong color impact… not too light or too dark. The gold is a bit on the rose side and has sculptured rolls of gold on both sides… typically art deco. It was made in Europe, although there are no markings.
This is a great middle-finger ring, although it’s not limited. The gold design on the sides actually gives the ring balance. It sits properly without rolling over. For someone who’s not shy about large rings, this ring is comfortable enough to wear every day.
Condition: Mint, however, you can see a mark on the back of the band where the ring was once resized.
Measurements: Ring size is almost a 6.5. It can be resized. The stone measures 0.7 long by 0.55 wide (approx. 15 ct). Total weight: 11g.
Price: $1,490.00
