Gorgeous art deco sapphire and diamond cocktail ring, c1925
This fabulous ring incorporates all the finest elements of early art deco glamour. Most of the stones are set in platinum. The ring itself is 18K gold. The center sapphire (1.10 ct) is a lovely oval cut set in a gold bezel. There are approximately 0.60 ct of diamonds (G-H color), and the front is fully accented with channel-set sapphires. The sapphires are a rich medium blue color… strong enough for a good color impact but not too dark. This ring was probably made in Paris.
This ring is eye-catching yet delicate. It sits fairly low on the finger and would be suitable for any finger. It’s one of the favorite rings here in the store and is sure to be a conversation piece whenever it’s worn.
Condition: Mint. There is no damage or missing stones, just the patina one would expect.
Measurements: The ring size is 8.25. It could be conservatively resized. The front face measures 0.75 inch long by 0.6 wide. Total weight: 5g.
