Diamond and ruby target ring, c1930
The half-ct, brilliant-cut, bright white center diamond (H-I color) is bezel set in 18K white gold. Surrounding that is a wide circle of channel-set, trapezoid-cut, Burmese rubies. The band of the ring has a stripe of black enamel, which accents the target nicely. The classic art deco setting is also decorated with an embossed design on the sides.
There are many variations on the theme of target rings. This one has a bit more color than many of them because the row of bright clear rubies is fairly wide. It has a great modern look, yet it is quite feminine.
Condition: Excellent.
Measurements: The ring size is 6.75. It may be difficult to resize this ring without damaging the enamel. Total weight: 3.5g.
