Art deco perpetual calendar in French with stylized pelicans of wood and ivory, c1930
What a great way to remember your days and months in French! This fabulous calendar has two stylized pelicans back-to-back, leaving space for the months, dates, and days. The calendar information is on thin ivorine cards, which are arranged to display the correct date and day.
This piece is so wonderfully deco. Even if you never change the date, it’s a treat just to have it around. The birds have great personality.
