Indonesian hinged silver color wide bracelet, old (age unknown)
Made of silver colored metal this hinged bracelet has a beautiful earthy style. The design is an alternating pattern of stylized leaves and flowers. The hinge is still in good working condition. However, you’ll have to get used to it. There is a pin that you pull up to release the two sides. At first, you may think the pin is up and wonder why the sides don’t come apart. Actually, that’s a safety mechanism… you need to pull the pin to the second click before the it releases the sides. It’s easy when you get used to it.
You may want to look at our other primitive bracelets. They often look very nice together.
